  • Summary: Responsible for the scope, deliverables, schedule, budget, and quality to meet the needs of the purchase order or contract on multiple projects of varied difficulty.
  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Review new purchase orders and contracts
  • Act as primary liaison with customer
  • Identify Scope of Work, plan resources and monitor progress of project
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Engineering, Operations, Quality and Purchasing to meet product delivery deadlines
  • Schedule progress meetings (on an as required basis) preparing minutes and action lists
  • Identify problem areas and possible solutions to maintain the schedule and budget
  • Prioritize key activities, and revise as required
  • Ensure project documentation is complete, current, and archived appropriately according to Quality standards
  • Emphasis on managing schedule and reporting of deliverables in MS Project and Project 365 software
  • Responsible for managing all deliverables related to a project, both hardware and documentation
  • Manage projects and orders through enterprise resource software/database (training provided)
  • Preparing monthly cost reports and forecasts
  • Manage and arrange shipping documentation to meet customer requirements and export controls
  • Manage invoicing, bank guarantees and letters of credit for projects
  • Must be comfortable presenting project issues and summaries to senior management
  • Other related duties as required
  • Education/Training/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree and Project Management Experience is required.
  • 5 years of engineering, project or related experience
  • Proficient in Office Microsoft Suite including Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Previous experience in project management in an engineering environment would be an asset
  • Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
