Overview

We build some of the most innovative products in the veterinary diagnostic industry. The Field Support Representative (FSR) role supports veterinarians by training and troubleshooting our analyzers. The FSR is field‑based, travels from a home office, and serves as a trusted advisor to veterinary practices.

What can you expect?

You will develop relationships with customers, travel across the Greater Vancouver area, and continuously grow through comprehensive training programs. Your day‑to‑day will involve meeting new people, building relationships, and supporting our customers’ evolving needs.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Sales Representatives and Customer Support to develop strategies for maintaining customer accounts.
  • Install and train clinic staff on IDEXX Analyzers (ProCyte, Catalyst One, SediVue).
  • Provide onsite technical support for critical customer needs.
  • Visit customers daily, adjusting your schedule for events and emergency practices.
  • Plan and strategize customer visits, manage your schedule, and focus on professional development.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years veterinary clinic experience, strongly preferred training/leadership background.
  • Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) or equivalent is a strong asset.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and customer partnership skills.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and make timely decisions in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with computers, tablets, and smartphones; computer networking experience is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license required with a clean abstract.
  • Willingness to relocate within the territory and travel up to 75% of the time.

  • Weekend hours and weekday overtime may be required.
  • Overnight travel is required.
  • Requires up to 75% travel: 5 days or more of car travel per week, 6‑8 days of overnight travel per month.

Physical Demands
