Job description

We have been in business for over 30 years. Some of our team members have been here since we opened. We are located in rural Ontario, offering a smaller town feel, which has allowed us to establish longstanding, meaningful, and caring relationships with our clients and their pets. We provide services such as x-ray, ultrasound, surgery, and COHAT, along with high-quality medicine.

NVA Canada’s VT Practicum Program

Our program offers final-year veterinary technician students the opportunity to gain real-world experience in a supportive, dynamic environment. You will work alongside experienced veterinarians and RVTs to develop your clinical skills in patient care, laboratory procedures, anesthesia, surgical assistance, radiology, and more. This experience will also enhance your communication skills with medical teams and clients, preparing you for a successful career as an RVT.

Practica range from two to eight weeks, accommodating your schedule and career goals. Eligible students—those enrolled in an accredited VT program in Canada and completing their final practicum in their final year—may receive a stipend to assist with travel expenses, allowing you to focus on learning without financial worries.
