Job Description

West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Emergency Medicine are seeking an Urgent Care Physician (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will practice in Fairmont, WV, with potential assignments at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, with travel expected.

Responsibilities

1. Practice in the area of Urgent Care, providing excellent patient care.
2. Participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

Qualifications

1. MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
2. Eligibility for state medical license.
3. Board certified/eligible in the relevant residency specialty.
4. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

The Fairmont Gateway Clinic Urgent Care is embedded in a multispecialty clinic with access to specialists, full lab, and radiology support.
