Overview

Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Treatment Coordinator/Manager to oversee the daily operations of a dental practice. The office is fully digital with two specialists (endodontist and periodontist) and two general dentists. There is an onsite lab where the principal dentist designs veneers, crowns, bridges, etc.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in treatment coordination, expertise in fiscal management, and a thorough understanding of dental office procedures. This role requires exceptional leadership to manage patient relations and ensure compliance with RCDSO regulations.

Duties
  • Explain, book, and follow-up on treatment with patients
  • Oversee the daily operations of the dental office, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care
  • Coordinate patient scheduling and manage appointment systems to optimize office efficiency
  • Collaborate with in-house and outside dental specialists to improve patient care processes and outcomes
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in healthcare management
Requirements
  • Proven experience (7+ years) direct dental office experience is required
  • Knowledge of AbelDental (Abledent) software along with MaxAssist
  • Strong dental knowledge (admin & clinical)
  • A diploma or degree is preferred; however, experience will also be considered
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, codes, and insurance requirements
  • Experience working with specialists (perio and endo would be a plus)
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, staff, and providers
  • Comfortable working in a digital office
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts (morning, afternoon, evenings, approx. 32-40 hours per week Monday-Thursday and one weekend day per month, not in summer)
Office hours
  • Monday: 8-4
  • Tuesday: 1-8
  • Wednesday: 12-8
  • Thursday: 8-4
  • One Sunday per month: 8:30-4
Compensation
