Our Langley, BC Branch has an exciting opportunity for a Trailer Sales Rep. to join our team!

What You Will Do
  • Promote and sell trailers and related equipment within your assigned territory through regular customer visits and strong relationship development.
  • Solicit trailer orders from existing customers and actively prospect new business to meet monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Market and advertise trailer inventory using approved tools and in alignment with FGI’s marketing guidelines.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers and suppliers, addressing product inquiries, warranty concerns, and issue resolution.
  • Provide exceptional after‑sales support, including product training, demonstrations, and follow‑up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain a territory sales plan using the CRM system to track activity, monitor leads, and maintain accurate customer information.
  • Coordinate trailer specifications, when possible, to support factory production capacity and minimize internal inventory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other FGI branches to manage shared inventory effectively.
  • Work closely with management to maintain appropriate inventory levels based on market trends.
  • Arrange and coordinate shipping and delivery for customer orders and incoming stock.
  • Prepare weekly sales activity updates, including competitor insights and market conditions, for review with your supervisor.
  • Manage expenses responsibly in accordance with FGI policies and maintain the company vehicle in clean, safe, and operational condition.
  • Participate in annual inventory counts as required.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, punctuality, and adherence to company procedures.
  • Contribute ideas to support ongoing improvement initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What We Require
  • Ideally, 5 years of experience selling heavy duty trailers/equipment, in addition to aftermarket parts OE experience an asset
  • Able to use a CRM system, ideally Salesforce
  • Demonstrated ability to foster customer relationships and develop a sales territory
  • Valid driver's license with no major infractions in the last 5 years
  • Must be able to meet the physical and environmental requirements : Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds from floor to waist, travel to customer locations on roadways and highways for long periods of time, frequent sitting, standing and walking at customer locations and at times working alone
  • Excellent customer service skills - Dedicated to exceeding the expectations of external and internal customers
  • Strong communication skills – Confident in delivering clear and detailed information to customers and team members
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and technology – Able to learn in-house systems
  • Proficiency with multiple languages is an asset
