Job summary

A manufacturing company in Quebec is seeking a Welder for a 2nd shift position. The successful candidate will perform Tig welding on a range of castings, focusing on non-certified, non-aerospace jobs. This role requires compliance with safety standards, as well as the ability to work from shop orders and specifications. Eligible candidates must have a high school diploma or GED preferred. The pay rate ranges from $19.50 to $32.00 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Must comply with all safety requirements and maintain a clean work environment.
• Ability to work from drawings, specifications, charts, and tables.
• Welding test required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Tig welding to repair and salvage castings.
• Detect and report faulty operations and maintain equipment.
• Prepare defective areas prior to welding.
