A community mental health organization in Lloydminster is seeking a Therapy Support Navigator to join their CASA Classrooms program. The successful candidate will assist mental health therapists in screening and treatment planning while providing hands-on support and group therapy for children, adolescents, and families. This permanent position offers competitive benefits and a salary range of $33.92 to $41.70 per hour, with a focus on delivering compassionate care across Alberta.

You will be a part of a team that works within community schools, right where children live and learn. The CASA Classrooms program provides individual and group therapy, psychiatric care, medication management and schooling according to each student’s individual need. CASA Classrooms are CASA’s new model for school-based mental health service. The program is delivered in partnership with the Government of Alberta, community partners and school divisions.
Wage range: $33.92 to $41.70
Vacation: 4.18 hours, accrued bi-weekly
Shift structure: Monday to Friday, 7.25 hours per day

Reporting to the Clinical Manager, the Therapy Support Navigator works closely with assigned program area Mental Health Therapists (MHT) to support screening, case management, delivery of treatment and achievement of treatment plans. The Therapy Support Navigator has an integral role within the therapy team to provide treatment extension, promote the uptake and application of skills within family, and school settings. The Therapy Support Navigator also facilitates child, adolescent, and parent treatment groups under the supervision of the MHTs.
