Overview
Infosys is seeking a Technology Lead. The position is for a Technical Lead with strong expertise in Python and conversational AI to design, build, and scale chatbot solutions across enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience in building intelligent virtual assistants, integrating LLMs, orchestrating backend services, and leading a technical team to deliver high-quality, production-grade conversational applications.
Responsibilities
- Architect scalable, fault-tolerant chatbot infrastructures using cloud platforms.
- Design and build chatbots using Python-based frameworks (e.g., Rasa, LangChain, Flask/FastAPI custom frameworks).
- Work with LLMs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Mistral, Llama, etc.) to build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems and intelligent dialogue flows.
- Integrate chatbots with enterprise systems.
- Implement vector search, embeddings, and knowledge base integrations for contextual responses.
- Create technical documentation, solution diagrams, and implementation plans.
- Ensure chatbot solutions meet enterprise security and compliance standards.
- Optimize performance, latency, and response accuracy of chatbot applications.
- Implement monitoring, logging, analytics, and continuous improvement loops.
- Ensure compliance with client processes and standards.
Required Qualifications
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, Ontario or willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of information technology experience.

- Expert-level proficiency in Python (APIs, async programming, application architecture).
- Strong experience with chatbot frameworks, such as Rasa / Rasa Pro, LangChain, Botpress.
- Experience with FastAPI, Flask, Django or other Python microservices frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, message queues, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Competent in Agile execution processes.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, multi-application team environment.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, Generative AI, RAG systems, embeddings, and vector databases.
- Experience deploying chatbots at scale in enterprise environments.
- Prior work with analytics tools for chatbot performance metrics.
- Knowledge of MLOps workflows and vector store optimization.
- Certifications in cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP) or AI technologies.
- Knowledge of Chatbot Frameworks: Python, Rasa/ RasaPro.
- Knowledge of Web Frameworks: FastAPI, Flask, Django.
- Knowledge of Database: MongoDB, Redis.
- Knowledge of Integration Tools: REST & GraphQL APIs.
- Knowledge of Testing & Debugging Tools: PyTest for unit testing.

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:
Ontario: $ 89,004 to $ 115,491.
