• Proof of Fall Arrest training or Working at Heights certification.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and service manufactured products using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, layouts, and other specifications.
• Measure and layout reference points for installation.
• Repair and replace parts and components for fireplace, air conditioner, ventilation, or heat pump system.
• Start up system and test for leaks.

Position

We\'re currently seeking a skilled and reliable Technician / Installer to join our team. In this role, you will install and service Napoleon products at both residential and commercial properties. You’ll work hands-on with industry-leading equipment and be a key part of delivering the quality and performance our customers expect.

Title: Technician / Installer

Reports to: Service Manager

Hours of work: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Job Purpose

Install and service Napoleon products at residential or commercial properties

Responsibilities And Accountabilities

• Install and service manufactured products using hand and power tools
• Read and interpret blueprint, drawings, layouts, and other specifications
• Measure and layout reference points for installation
• Measure, cut, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment
• Start up system, test for leaks, using testing devices
• Repair and replace parts and components for fireplace, air conditioner, ventilation or heat pump system
• Provide best customer service representing Napoleon

Education And Experience

• High School Diploma, or GED
• Three (3) years’ experience in related position
• Must have G2 gas and ODP (Ozone Depletion Prevention) certification/ with recognized WETT training/certificate
• Valid Refrigeration 313 certification is an asset
• Proof of Fall Arrest training or Working at Heights certification is required
• Must have valid G class driver’s license, with clean abstract
• Basic Computer Skills
