The ideal candidate will be/have:
- 1+ years of corporate service desk support experience
- At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft 365
- Ambition to grow into a Consultant role, working on diverse projects with clients
- A passion for continuous learning and adapting to technological advancements
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Employee is to generally provide support in the areas of cloud technology architecture and implementation, with emphasis on Microsoft cloud technologies.
Specifically, the Employee will:
- Respond to front-line tickets from Managed Services clients, diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues to identify root causes of outages.
- Provide support for projects involving the integration and consolidation of enterprise technology platforms.
- Assist with the configuration of cloud technologies, focusing on but not limited to Microsoft Office 365, Azure, and AWS.
- Support the underlying infrastructure for cloud services, including networking (switching, routing, firewalls) and Windows Servers.
- Make recommendations on technology standards within IC 360 to ensure efficient deployment of platforms for clients.
- Collaborate with the team to advise clients on technical architecture and assist in planning their technology solutions.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of security management plans for applications used by clients and external personnel.
- Support project teams and vendors involved in designing, developing, and maintaining business-critical systems and data warehouses.
- Provide input to Senior Systems Engineers on server configurations and infrastructure improvements for application enablement.
- Offer technical advice during the selection process of hardware and software solutions for systems or applications.
- Develop and maintain documentation for applications and platforms.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to support client technology deployments.
- Contribute to the creation of business cases and assessment reports by providing technical insights.
- Help prepare and present tactical and strategic plans for technology system development and integration.
- Conduct research on new technologies when necessary.
- Assist Technical Account Managers in supporting large Managed Services clients, especially where third-party contractors handle front-line service desk duties.
- Perform other duties as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Bilingual (French/English) preferred
- At least 1 year of experience providing corporate/organizational service desk support
- At least 1 year of experience administering: Microsoft 365 / Exchange, Azure, Intune / Endpoint Management, Active Directory and related on-premise systems (File servers, Remote Management Tools, GPO, DNS, DHCP, Exchange)
- Working knowledge of IT Infrastructure including networking, storage, servers, and industry-standard applications.
- Desire to innovate and continuously make recommendations for improvement.
- Light scripting (Batch, PowerShell, etc.)
