Technical sales representative under the supervision of the Territory Manager, the Sales Representative will be responsible for market development and the sale of cutting-edge industrial equipment. The representative will cover the large territory of Bas St-Laurent, Gaspésie, and New Brunswick. Candidates must reside within the territory covered.

Under the supervision of the Territory Manager, the Sales Representative will be responsible for market development and the sale of cutting-edge industrial equipment. The representative will cover the large territory of Bas St-Laurent, Gaspésie, and New Brunswick. Candidates must reside within the territory covered.

Responsibilities
  • DEVELOP new business according to the marketing plan (80%)
  • Prospect and solicit clients by phone, mail, online, and networking, targeting both new and existing customers in the assigned region
  • Identify key decision-makers and influencers in the purchasing process
  • Plan and implement a communication strategy to present the right solutions to the right people at the right time, in order to generate business opportunities
  • Negotiate and sell terms and conditions in collaboration with the Branch Manager, including pricing, warranties, and delivery schedules
  • Work with specialists to develop solutions and master the value propositions that highlight the unique aspects of the offer in order to justify costs
  • MAINTAIN client relationships (20%)
  • Communicate with clients, supervisors, and technicians during project execution to ensure satisfaction at every stage
  • Assess customer satisfaction at the end of projects and identify future opportunities
  • Contact clients on a regular basis to present new services that may be of interest
Education and Skills Required
  • College diploma or university degree in a relevant field
  • Proven experience in business development on the road
  • Excellent knowledge of the industrial sector – a MAJOR asset
  • Bilingualism, as the majority of our clients and suppliers are English-speaking
  • Strong persuasive skills and mastery of strategic sales and purchasing processes (a certificate from a relevant course is an asset)
  • Strong drive to develop market opportunities
  • Results-oriented
