Essential Functions: What you’ll do
  • Develop detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD and Revit based on design concepts, field surveys, and project specifications.
  • Create accurate bills of materials (BOMs) and cutting lists for production.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales, design, engineering, and production teams to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Interpret architectural plans, client specifications, and engineering requirements to develop appropriate solutions.
  • Identify and resolve design conflicts or technical challenges proactively.
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes and industry standards.
  • Manage and organize design files, ensuring version control and accessibility.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical input and recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest software advancements, materials, and manufacturing techniques in the sign industry.
Qualifications
  • Proven expertise in Revit and/or AutoCAD is essential. Please highlight your specific experience with these software platforms in your application.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Designer or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent spatial reasoning and ability to visualize complex 3D structures from 2D drawings.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with other design software is a plus.
