A leading logistics company based in Toronto is seeking a Tax Associate responsible for tax compliance, including preparing complex corporate tax returns and assisting in tax audits. The position requires a CPA or relevant degree, 1-2 years of experience in corporate tax, and strong analytical skills. This hybrid role includes work from home options but requires at least one day in the office per week. Position: Tax Associate
Primary Location: Preference is to be located in Toronto (Hybrid with 1 day per week in the office). The position is also open to be home based within Canada.
Reports to: Sr.Tax Manager
Compensation Range: $85,000 - $95,000
The range shown reflects the targeted pay scale. Actual pay within the range depends on work location and factors such as skills, experience, and education. Specific salary details can be discussed during the hiring process. Posted compensation reflects base salary only and excludes bonuses, benefits, pension contributions, and other incentives
About The Position And About You
The Tax Associate will report to the Senior Manager, Tax, and will be responsible for the tax compliance function of the corporate tax team. The Tax Associate will prepare complex corporate tax returns and assist in corporate tax audits. This role will also be responsible for preparing tax provision calculations for quarterly and year-end financial reporting. In addition, Tax Associate will have the opportunity to assist in tax planning and transaction projects.
