Your Next Challenge
  • Reporting to the Supervisor, Talent Acquisition, you will be part of the Human Resources Department. You will play a key role in recruiting the best talent for our Canadian divisions by employing proactive sourcing strategies and resources, developing new, creative recruiting ideas as well as being part of a dynamic and supportive talent acquisition team. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
  • Lead the recruitment process from start to finish, supporting departments in their hiring needs for hourly positions and ensuring the hiring process standards are followed for all candidates.
  • Follow the recruitment screening process to identify the best potential candidates.
  • Recruit, source and present qualified candidates to the hiring managers.
  • Liaise with candidates and hiring managers during all stages of the recruitment process.
  • Lead interviews by using the targeted selection method interviewing system.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from the selection process to pre‑employment verifications to the onboarding stage of new employees.
  • Ensure proper follow‑ups with stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining professional networks, etc.
  • Represent the company and participate in career fairs as required.
What You Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or Industrial Relations, or equivalent.
  • 2 years of experience in a full‑cycle recruitment role.
  • Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems, LinkedIn and various other candidate databases.
  • Experience with targeted selection interview methods.
  • Sound knowledge of market trends and best practices.
  • Integrity and confidentiality.
Your Work Schedule

Schedule: 5/2 schedule (Monday to Friday); a combination of tele‑working with presence at our offices. Ideally the person will be based in Northern Ontario and will need to travel regularly to all sites in Ontario.
