What You’ll Do
  • Provide system and product level design and support
  • Document system and subsystem requirements specifications, interface control documents, design documents and use cases.
  • Manage System Problem Reports (SPRs) and Observations by providing proper upfront analysis and input to support bug fixes as well as seeing the proper close out of each SPR.
  • Provide guidance and support to the development teams for the implementation and revision of capabilities within LCSS
  • Support integration and test activities, including reviewing test cases, analyzing results, and helping resolve discrepancies.
  • Participate in meetings and reviews with both internal teams and external stakeholders, presenting insights and recommendations.
  • Take ownership of deliverables and contribute to meeting key program milestones and commitments.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, or applicable scientific discipline is required.
  • 2+ years System Engineering or Systems Architecture experience
  • Experience and working knowledge of systems engineering tools including DOORS (Preferred DOORS Next Generation), Rational Team Concert (RTC) and UML/SysML
  • Knowledge of the System development process and lifecycles.
  • Knowledge of the Requirements definition and management.
  • Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills.
  • Reasonable understanding of SW, FW, operating systems, data terminals, and basic networking.
  • Enthusiastic contributor, willingness to learn new skills and takes on ownership of work.
