Your Role

Radio-Canada Estrie is currently seeking one (1) Switcher-Producer (Show Director) for its newsroom in Estrie. As a switcher-producer, you will broadcast and edit the Téléjournal Estrie and other programs in whole or in part. You will program, start and ensure the proper functioning of the automated referral system on the air and you will ensure the proper functioning of peripheral equipment such as the writing synthesizer, the sound console, BCCs, robotics, intercom, system graph and weather system. You will also be responsible for ensuring that technical requirements are verified prior to broadcasts. You will also ensure the control of the technical quality of the programs. You will also be required to upload digital content.

Schedule: This is a full-time, one-year replacement position, assigned from Thursday to Sunday. However, this schedule may be modified according to work organization, editorial requirements, and operational needs.
