Job summary

A local community sports organization is seeking coaches for youth aged 7-13 and advanced groups (ages 15-99). Candidates must be 16+ with competitive swimming experience or teaching credentials. The role requires leadership and communication skills, with sessions running Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 4pm to 5:30pm. General guidance will be given; no on-the-job training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must be age 16+.
• Experience in competitive swimming or related coaching certification.
• Comfortable leading and communicating with young children and teens.

Responsibilities

• Coach youths aged 7-13 and advanced/masters groups (ages 15-99).
• Commit to scheduled coaching hours: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays from 4pm-5:30pm.
• Provide general guidance and feedback to participants.

Overview

Looking for coaches that can coach youths aged 7-13, as well as a coach that can coach advanced and masters group (ages 15-99). Should be comfortable leading and communicating with young children, youths and teens. Should be a quick self-starter. General guidance/feedback will be provided but there is no on the job training. Must be able to commit to the following hours and dates: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays – 4pm-5:30pm. Club runs 3 sessions per season (Oct 6-Dec.12, Jan 5-March 6, March 23-June 5).

Qualifications

• must be age 16+
• Competitive swimming experience OR Water Safety Instructor Certificate OR any swim coach/teaching experience OR a combination of the above experiences.
