About This Role

The position of Procurement Specialist is perfect for you! You will be responsible for ensuring the optimal availability of parts and raw materials needed for production, while respecting deadlines, costs, and inventory levels. You will act as the main point of contact between suppliers and the operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute purchase orders based on production needs and forecasts using our ERP (SAP) system
  • Optimize procurement parameters to achieve turnover and inventory level targets
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with suppliers and implement corrective action plans when required
  • Identify procurement risks (delays, non-conformities, shortages, etc.) and propose mitigation strategies
  • Actively participate in the continuous improvement and optimization of procurement processes
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in operations management, procurement, business administration, or a college diploma in procurement management combined with relevant experience.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in procurement, ideally in an industrial environment.
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems for inventory and supply chain management.
  • Excellent command of French and functional or advanced knowledge of English.
