This posting is for a 4-month Student Summer 2026 placement with a start date of May 2026 and an end date of August 2026. In order to be eligible for this 4-month Student position, you must either Be returning to school after the work term end date in August 2026; or If you are not returning to school (i.e., graduating in April or August 2026), you must require the work term as a mandatory component to graduate successfully.

What is the opportunity?

The Transformation Office is the team in Commercial Banking that drives the successful delivery of key transformation programs supporting the bank’s ambitious growth strategy. The group maximises the effectiveness of the Operating Committee by focusing priorities on critical, high‑impact topics while providing transparency on spend, execution progress, risks, and large‑scale program investments.

The analyst will become a key member of the Commercial Banking Transformation group and support across transformation programs (International Banking, AI implementation in the credit process, and improvements to the client experience). The analyst will take on deliverables and become part of the team on one of the initiatives.

What will you do?
  • Support and conduct analysis using RBC’s enterprise suite of analytical tools
  • Support day‑to‑day execution of assigned initiatives
  • Support implementation and maintenance of models
  • Build, maintain and present information in a logical, user‑friendly manner tailored to each audience
  • Build relationships and collaborate with Commercial Banking stakeholders
What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Interest in the financial services industry and Commercial Banking within RBC
  • Intellectually curious and ability to articulate a point of view
Nice-to-have
  • Business intelligence and visualization tools experience
