Members learn how to plan and execute work, how to apply Scaled Agile Framework® and Agile principles, and how to continuously improve
  • Expand your network by participating in national and local social activities with other co‑ops
  • Develop your own learning plan by leveraging our e‑learning platform
  • Participate in professional development workshops focused on soft‑skill development
  • Participate in an AI hackathon where the top team wins a grand prize
  • Fast track to future new‑grad opportunities at CGI

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $18–32/hour. This role is an existing vacancy.

Your Future Duties and Responsibilities
  • Participate in the development of web applications (front‑end and back‑end)
  • Design and integrate user interfaces
  • Develop and maintain APIs and databases
  • Fix bugs and improve performance
  • Participate in testing and deployment phases
  • Contribute to technical decisions and documentation
Required Qualifications
  • Student in computer science or software development
  • Solid foundation in web programming (PHP, Java, .NET, …)
  • Interest in full‑stack development
  • Curious, autonomous, and versatile
  • Interested in understanding how the systems you develop work
  • Good organizational skills and ability to work in a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in French
Essential Technical Skills
  • Front‑end: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React / Vue / Angular / JQuery / XML / JSON
  • Back‑end: Node.js, PHP, Python, Java, Microsoft .NET (C#, VB.NET) or equivalent
  • Database: SQL Server
  • Tools: Git, Agile methodology, Visual Studio, IntelliJ, VS Code
  • Additional Technical Assets:
    • Linux (basic commands at minimum)
    • Automated testing
  • General Skills:
    • Strong autonomy
    • Analytical ability and capacity to propose solutions for functional and architectural aspects
    • Knowledge of payroll and HR domain (an asset)
