Offering fresh, innovative services from concept, to build, and beyond, we support our clients in delivering departmental solutions across all sectors, ensuring our ethos of sustainability is at the heart of our projects.

They currently have a vacancy open for a Structural Engineer who is looking to develop their career, working on a diverse portfolio of projects throughout the UK. This role will be based at their Oxford office, subject to business requirements the role may be eligible for hybrid working.

As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for the delivery of Structural services for a range of projects. You will be providing technical expertise, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, whilst ensuring compliance within all relevant design standards and regulations.

Key Areas of Responsibilities Will Include :
  • Perform site inspections and evaluate existing structures to determine the need for repairs or replacements.
  • Design new structures or modify existing ones, following relevant design codes and standards.
  • Prepare comprehensive structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Collaborate with the Civil, Mechanical and Electrical teams to ensure seamless integration of structural designs into wider projects.
  • Engage in design reviews, project meetings, and visit construction sites as needed.
  • Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and other duties as necessary.
Requirements
  • Experienced in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • A relevant degree / apprenticeship and working experience.
  • Must be willing to travel for site visits and client meetings.
  • Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards chartership.

This role requires you to have a full clean driving licence with access to your own vehicle, and will be subject to a DBS Enhanced check.
