A local athletic training facility in Ontario is seeking a part-time Strength and Conditioning Coach. In this role, you will design and instruct training programs aimed at improving the athletic performance of youth sports teams. The ideal candidate will possess relevant certifications, experience with youth programming, and strong communication skills. This position offers a pay starting from $35 per hour for 5 to 10 hours of work weekly.
We are seeking a Strength and Conditioning Coach who will be responsible for creating and maintaining strength and conditioning programs, with the three major goals of improving athletic performance, reducing athletic injuries, and teaching lifelong fitness and movement skills for youth-based sports teams
The Strength and Conditioning Coach instructs strength and conditioning classes, devises sport-specific training plans based on sound scientific principles, oversees training sessions, evaluates athletes and maintains athlete records.
The Strength and Conditioning Coach meets regularly with sport coaches to determine what the athletes need to work on. If working with an injured athlete engaged in rehabilitation, the Strength and Conditioning Coach will consult with coaching, medical and / or rehabilitation professionals as necessary, making necessary adjustments to programming.
The Strength and Conditioning Coach is responsible for abiding by policies, plans, and procedures for the safe and professional operation of the facility.
