Description

Flowers brand is a licensed retail distributor of cannabis for recreational use. We are seeking a full-time, dedicated, hard-working, results-oriented, experienced Cannabis Retail Store Manager (SM) for permanent employment. The SM is responsible for delivering an unparalleled customer shopping experience and for managing day-to-day retail store operations in collaboration with company management. The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of a Flowers Cannabis retail store.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise, manage and hire employees of the store
  • Manage the sale of cannabis and related compliance issues
  • Buy cannabis for the store
  • Enter into contracts for the store
  • Manage an energetic and efficient team
  • Provide initial and ongoing training to ensure staff compliance with regulations
  • Maintain written store SOPs and enforce adherence by staff
  • Create and monitor staff schedules to ensure sufficient personnel for a quality customer experience
  • Manage staff payroll
  • Compile and maintain all physical and digital records (sales, inventory, employee records, video surveillance, store policies, and other required records)
  • Demonstrate knowledge of cannabis, legislation and AGCO standards and regulations
  • Facilitate AGCO reporting, audits, destruction logs, and CannSell certification verification
  • Generate daily, weekly and monthly sales/operations reports
  • Identify strengths and areas for improvement in daily operations
  • Cooperate with government auditors and law enforcement to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Monitor inventory to maintain stock levels and minimize waste
  • Assist in advertising campaigns to increase store traffic, brand exposure and revenue
  • Address customer concerns professionally and implement changes based on feedback
  • Monitor for zero-tolerance policy regarding impaired or underage customers
  • Recommend promotions and assess their impact on sales trends
  • Collaborate with management to support business goals
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of cannabis retail experience
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Possess a Cannabis Retail Manager License from the AGCO
  • Possess a CannSell Certificate
  • Ability to pass extensive background and police record checks
  • Strong leadership and management skills
