A prominent food processing company located in Hamilton is looking for a skilled Steamfitter. This unionized position involves maintenance and installation work in various facilities. The ideal candidate must possess a valid 307A Certificate and have prior experience in an industrial setting. The position of Steamfitter is a unionized (United Food and Commercial Workers Union - Local 175) hourly paid position.
Work schedule: Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm. Must be able to work overtime as required.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Steamfitter will respond to plant equipment maintenance tasks and complete construction and fabrication projects as assigned. This position is responsible for the installation and maintenance of equipment in the Hamilton Crush and Edible Oils Facilities.
Commitment to supply safe food, maintain a food safety culture within the site, continually improve the site's food safety management system; and comply with customer and regulatory requirements.
