Job Responsibilities
- Engage daily with senior‑level clients through various communication channels to help solve complex challenges
- Conduct research on markets, practices, and trends, producing actionable insights for clients
- Develop strong insights on software and cloud pricing and contracting, particularly related to SAP
- Deliver high‑quality advice and support client negotiations and vendor management
- Provide mentorship to team members and establish thought leadership within the research community
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SaaS/Cloud contract negotiations or related fields
- Deep expertise in SAP Licensing and negotiation trends in software and cloud services
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen with the ability to defend conclusions
- Excellent written communication skills, with experience in publishing preferred
- Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 25%) for client engagements
Preferred Qualifications
- Recent hands‑on experience negotiating with SAP, particularly on larger, complex deals
- Background negotiating with other major software vendors and cloud providers
- Experience with compliance risk assessment and management in software audits
- Strong verbal communication skills and public speaking experience
- Knowledge of the global market and SAP’s competitive landscape with resellers
