As a not-for-profit municipally owned and subsidized long-term care home with 206 beds all of our resources are dedicated to our residents.

In A Nutshell

As a member of the Life Enrichment Team the incumbent will be responsible for the development and provision of therapeutic programs to individuals and / or small groups of residents. The program design and provisions will be based on the identified needs of individual residents. The incumbent will be expected to interact closely with the interdisciplinary team to facilitate continuity of individualized programming.

Members of the Life Enrichment department are required to provide programming in all 5 domains of Recreation. Successful candidates will be able to display a high level of understanding in Recreation Therapy theory practice and outcomes.

  • Following monthly event and daily activity calendars
  • Facilitation of group programs
  • One to one emotional support
What We Are Looking For
