Vous avez une expérience significative en certification du bruit extérieur, vous avez travaillé l'industrie aérospatiale et vous souhaitez évoluer et développer de nouvelles compétences? Ce poste est pour vous !

Le programme d'avions commerciaux A220 recherche un ingénieur acousticien hautement qualifié et expérimenté pour rejoindre notre équipe d'acoustique basée à Mirabel (Québec, Canada), où vous sera déterminant(e) dans l'évaluation, la certification et l'analyse de l'acoustique des avions, contribuant au cycle de vie complet du produit, du développement au soutien en service.

Vous ferez partie de l’équipe d'acoustique chargée d’évaluer et de certifier des avion.

L'organisation de l'équipe est établie de manière à promouvoir la collaboration transversale de manière autonome, en se soutenant mutuellement et en apprenant collectivement.

Votre rôle en tant que spécialiste en certification acoustique sera de participer à l'évaluation des changements et à l'établissement de stratégies de certification pertinentes, effectuer des calculs, préparer des rapports acoustiques, communiquer les résultats, et satisfaire les autorités de certification et les clients internes. Ce poste offre une voie de développement vers un rôle de Design Approval Designee (DAD).

Your challenges:
  • Participate in evaluating design changes and establishing relevant acoustic certification strategies.
  • Create, modify, and execute computer programs to perform acoustic calculations and simulations.
  • Propose innovative engineering solutions within your domain of expertise, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Produce comprehensive and formal documentation to communicate findings and ensure compliance with certification authorities and internal client requirements.
  • Provide technical support for flight and ground tests, including data acquisition and analysis.
  • Collaborate with other Airbus centers of competency to share best practices, manage knowledge, and improve overall team efficiency.
  • The successful candidate will be developed and considered for a Design Approval Designee (DAD) role upon successful completion of the required training after a trial period.
Your boarding pass:
  • Hold a bachelor's or, preferably, a master's of higher degree in a relevant discipline with significant experience in the industry, specializing in acoustics throughout the complete life cycle of an aerospace product development.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CAR) Airworthiness Manual (AWM) 525 development and certification processes. Prior experience as a Design Approval Designee (DAD) or candidate is a significant asset.
  • Be fully familiar with relevant industry standards, certification requirements, and guidance material. Experience as a member of an international working group is an asset.
  • Possess a solid understanding of sound propagation mechanisms, signal processing, and the instrumentation and data acquisition required for noise measurement.
  • Apply advanced working knowledge of MatLab, Python, and/or similar programming languages. Be proficient in scripting within Windows and Linux environments.
  • Exhibit intermediate to advanced documentation skills and a proven ability to deliver results on TCQP (Time, Cost, Quality, Performance).
  • A self-starter with a strong sense of responsibility and good judgment, capable of working effectively under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Possess exceptional organizational and analytical thinking skills. Driven to improve processes, capture knowledge, and share insights with the team.
  • Exhibit excellent writing and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability for clear and concise technical writing.
  • Familiarity with new analytical technologies, such as applied AI and Machine Learning, is considered an asset.

This role may involve occasional travels for business. Possible on-call duties during week-ends and/or holiday seasons.
