Responsibilities
  • Participate in the development of new patient lifts and mobility aids according to the product development process (PDP) and regulatory requirements
  • Implement the design requirements
  • Support the project teams in computer and embedded programming
  • Implement solutions to correct problems related to the design
  • Participate in the assembly of prototypes; build and commission test benches
  • Develop documentation related to research and development projects
  • Assuring the organization and good order of the laboratory
Requirements
  • College diploma in computer system technology, computer technology, electrical engineering technology or equivalent
  • Ability to implement software solutions effectively
  • Experience of programmation in C/C++
  • Functional knowledge of version control software
  • Experience in real-time operating systems (asset)
  • Experience in embedded programming (asset)
  • Empathy towards users and ability to understand the context of product use
