Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience building and managing software applications at large scale.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Deep knowledge of at least one modern programming language (e.g., Go, Rust, PHP) with strong CS fundamentals.
  • Experience designing and architecting large-scale distributed systems.
  • Passion for Observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana experience a plus).
  • SQL proficiency and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
  • Experience debugging, optimizing, and identifying failures in large-scale distributed systems.
  • Experience with containers (Docker & Kubernetes).

Software Engineer, Enterprise Readiness at Cloudflare. Cloudflare is on a mission to help build a better Internet. The Engineering Team builds and runs software that handles a large portion of HTTP requests and internal tooling. This role focuses on building features for Large Scale Enterprise customers, partners, and internal admin tooling.

What You’ll Do

We are looking for a full stack engineer on the Enterprise Readiness team to help build features for Large Scale Enterprise customers, partners, and our internal admin tooling platform. The ideal candidate will have experience with large-scale applications and strong CS fundamentals. You will care about the quality of code as well as the customer and developer experience. You will work with product owners and other engineers to build scalable frameworks and tooling to improve developer productivity.

This role may require flexibility to be on-call outside of standard working hours to address technical issues as needed.

Technologies used include React, JavaScript, TypeScript, Cypress, Go, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes, Kafka, Quicksilver.

Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location. This role is eligible to participate in Cloudflare’s equity plan.
