At PwC, as a Social Media Specialist on the Social Media team, you will join a high‑performing group of problem solvers dedicated to tackling complex business challenges from strategy through execution. In this role, you will support a range of PwC Canada stakeholders, with a focus on advancing client‑centric strategies aligned to the national agenda while contributing to broader firm initiatives as needed.

Meaningful work you’ll be part of

As a Social Media Specialist at the Senior Associate level, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Execute PwC’s social media strategy in close collaboration with other members of the Social Media and Communications team, the Marketing team and internal stakeholders
  • Support organic and paid campaigns by assisting marketing team with creating best-in‑class content on social channels that aligns with the campaign’s marketing strategy and key messages and measuring campaign reception
  • Contribute to content creation by drafting, editing and adapting social‑first copy and visuals, ensuring all assets are optimized for each platform’s format, audience and best practices
  • Support governance of social media including guidance, best practices and training
  • Assist with the use of, and advise internal stakeholders on, social media to advance their reputation, business development and marketing goals
  • As a subject matter expert, you must maintain a deep knowledge of social media trends, platforms, tools, best practices, etc.
  • Monitor of social media channels and escalating questions, issues and risks
  • Support reporting and analytics by extracting social performance data, developing regular dashboards and insights, and translating metrics into actionable recommendations that inform strategy and improve campaign effectiveness
  • Advocate for the ethical use, and transparency of, social media engagement across PwC
Experiences And Skills You’ll Use To Solve
  • Experience in social media, and strategy development
  • Proven track record publishing to corporate channels across social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, YouTube etc. Proven track record in content management and a sound understanding of multi‑channel marketing techniques (ideally within a B2B / professional / financial services or related sectors)
  • Strong analytical ability, with experience of capturing, analyzing, and developing recommendations based upon complex ROI data sets
  • Familiar with social media management publishing platforms such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social or Sprinklr and monitoring tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CMS, WordPress, Google Analytics and web marketing platforms
  • A commercial approach, understanding how social media activity translates to business outcomes
  • Passion for digital and a deep knowledge of the nuances of each social networks and other emerging communities and tools
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and handle multiple projects in a fast‑paced setting
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound judgements during crisis support

The salary range for this position is $52,600 - $87,700. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm‑wide achievements.
