MediaEdge is an award-winning business media company seeking a social media coordinator to join our growing team.

For more than 25 years, MediaEdge has been at the forefront of innovation within B2B print and digital publishing. MediaEdge has been helping multiple businesses and associations realize their marketing goals by offering industry-leading communication vehicles including programmatic advertising, social media campaigns, content marketing and industry-specific events.

Our Social Media Coordinator will help engage, target and build b2b audiences across multiple social media platforms on behalf of our clients. The position will be responsible for developing and implementing our content plans and serving as the active brand voice for each client. The person in this role has the ability to engage the business audience through appropriate conversation while supporting the client’s brand messages.

This person should have superior writing and blogging skills, be able to think on their feet and have extreme attention to detail. Knowledge of all major social media platforms and proven experience in blogging is a must.

Responsibilities

  • 1-3 years work experience in social media, communications or content marketing
  • Experience in community management required
  • Experience with photo editing
  • Superior understanding of social media platforms, including experience with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn
  • Knowledge of content SEO
  • Ability to use a blogging CMS such as WordPress
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, results-driven, responsible and accountable
