Job summary

A leading investment bank in Canada is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join their Technology Operations Management department. This role involves close collaboration with development teams to build efficient solutions and ensure the security of information and assets. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, experience with Python/Shell, and familiarity with observability tools and databases.

Qualifications

• Experience of hands-on application development.
• RDBMS knowledge (preferably MSSQL/PostgreSQL).
• Must be comfortable in working in Unix environment and have experience with web servers.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with development architects, clients, and business analysts.
• Develop services and utilities based on Python/Shell.
• Ensure a consistent and fast deployment pipeline.
• Create tooling to improve developer experience.
• Work closely with application teams to understand their needs.
