We are seeking a visionary Silicon Lead to launch and guide our new team focused on automotive and robotics. This is a rare opportunity to define the functional safety roadmap for high-performance AI silicon and shape how it’s deployed in next-generation vehicles and intelligent machines.

This role is hybrid, based out of Toronto, ON or Austin, TX. We welcome candidates at various experience levels. During the interview process, candidates will be assessed for the appropriate level, and offers will align with that level, which may differ from the one in this posting.

Who You Are

• Experienced in delivering safety-critical hardware, with a proven ability to design and/or validate complex CPUs or AI accelerators for automotive or robotics applications.
• A leader who builds and motivates high-performing engineering teams, setting ambitious standards and driving cross-functional execution.
• Skilled in navigating safety standards like ISO 26262, architecting solutions that balance compliance with accelerated development timelines.
• Adept at solving complex technical challenges across hardware, software, and systems in dynamic, interdisciplinary environments.
