Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift certification is required.
• Must have 3 years of forklift experience.
• Willingness to perform additional warehouse duties is necessary.
• TDG Certification is a plus.
• Experience with waybills and international shipments is beneficial.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• A background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing orders using Counterbalance Forklift.
• Process required paperwork for shipments.
• Maintain records for reporting and tracking.
• Match products with shipping documentation.
• Record shortages and reject damaged goods.
• Pack goods for shipping.
• Inspect incoming goods and verify against invoices.

Shipper/Receiver

Brampton, ON

Wage: $25.00/hr

Shift: 8:00am-4:30pm

Shifts available: Monday to Friday

Our client is a fast growing, high quality specialty coatings manufacturer located in North Brampton. They are looking to add a Shipper/Receiver who can lead the team in the shipment of their product worldwide

Job Duties

• Load/Unload incoming and outgoing orders using Counterbalance Forklift
• Process all required paperwork
• Maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking
• Match product with shipping or PO documentation
• Record shortages and reject damaged goods
• Pack goods to be shipped
• Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents
• Attach identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments
• Schedule, track and verify shipments as required
• Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies as required
• Audit inbound and outbound goods in order to ensure their quality
• Maintain a safe, organized working environment
• Must be able to work in a team environment

Job Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift certification
• Willing to provide 3 years of forklift experience
• Willing to perform additional warehouse duties when not operating forklift
• TDG Certification a plus
• Knowledge of filling out waybills and bills of landing and international shipments
• Computer Literate and the Ability to read and write English
• Ability to lift up to 50Ibs
• High school diploma or higher (equivalent work experience is acceptable)
• Requires background check
