A leading energy infrastructure company in Vancouver is looking for an Operations Shift Superintendent to lead terminal operations and foster a culture of safety and excellence. The ideal candidate will oversee operational teams, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. This position is at PKM Canada Marine Terminal LP (Vancouver Wharves Terminal) and reports to the Manager, Berth Operations in the Natural Gas Liquids Business Unit (NBU), part of Pembina’s Facilities Division. Located in one of the busiest port cities in North America, our Vancouver Wharves location is one of the largest terminals on the West Coast and handles both liquids and bulk products including mineral concentrates, diesel, sulphur, and grain products on behalf of customers.
The Operations Shift Superintendent will embody Pembina’s values with a commitment to fostering a culture of safety, trust, respect, collaboration, and innovation. The role will require a strong, adaptable leader who can inspire and guide a diverse team, including unionized Foremen, toward operational excellence while maintaining the highest standards. You will act as the management “Person in Charge” of all day-to-day activities at the terminal including, but not limited to, safety, quality, environmental compliance (SQE); operations; maintenance; planning; and 3rd party service providers.
The role works closely with Managers, SSEM staff, Operations Coordinators, Operations Logistics Analysts, 3rd party stakeholders, ILWU Foremen, and ILWU Longshore personnel to provide safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible terminal services to customers.

This position is considered “Safety Sensitive” and will require Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol Testing. You will also be required to provide a Driver’s Abstract.
The successful candidate must be legally able to work in the country of the position. Final candidate will be required to undergo Pre-Employment Background Checks including a Criminal Record Check.
