Job summary

A healthcare organization in Peel Region is seeking dedicated Clinic Physicians to promote sexual health and reproductive well-being in the community. The role entails providing STI assessments, contraceptive counselling, and maintaining EMR systems. The successful candidate should have a medical degree, be licensed in Ontario, and be able to work collaboratively in a team. This part-time position offers $120.00 per hour with flexible shift options.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree and current licensure with CPSO to practice medicine independently in Ontario.
  • Experience or strong interest in sexual health.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team environment.
  • Experience with EMR systems.
  • Willingness to learn new clinical skills as needed (e.g., IUD insertions, venipuncture).

  • Offer contraception counselling and prescribing, supporting clients in informed decision-making.
  • Perform IUD insertions (training available if not currently performed).
  • Utilize and maintain accurate Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
  • Perform venipuncture (training available if required).
Job description

We are seeking dedicated and collaborative Clinic Physicians to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with nurses to deliver a range of clinical services aimed at promoting sexual health and reproductive well-being in the community. Our sexual health clinics in Mississauga and Brampton provide culturally safe, stigma-free, and inclusive sexual health services to individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Physicians are expected to work at least one scheduled shift per week, with flexibility to pick up additional shifts considered an asset. Our clinics operate Monday to Friday, with hours ranging from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
