Overview

Sessional Lecturer - VCC304H5S Visual Culture and the Politics of Identity at the University of Toronto Mississauga. Course: VCC304H5 Visual Culture and the Politics of Identity. Session dates: January 5 – April 6, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver a university credit course, including preparation and delivery of course material, assignments, tests and/or exams, and regular office hours.
  • Supervise teaching assistants and manage grading and submission of grades to university officials.
  • Schedule and coordinate guest speakers as appropriate (subject to program guidelines).
Qualifications
  • An MA in a related field is required with demonstrated mastery of the subject area.
  • Experience as a sole responsibility course instructor is an asset.
