A leading university in Ontario is seeking a Sessional Lecturer for the Elementary French III course. The ideal candidate will hold a PhD in French literature or a relevant field and have experience teaching at the university level. Responsibilities include preparing lectures, conducting classes, and meeting with students. The position requires fluency in both French and English and runs from January 1 to April 30, 2026. The Department of French seeks a Sessional Lecturer for the following course:
FSL120H1S - Elementary French III
This course is intended for students having some knowledge of French but wishing to increase their proficiency in written and spoken French comprehension and production. Students also gain an introduction to a variety of French‑speaking cultures.

Preference in hiring is given to qualified individuals advanced to the rank of Sessional Lecturer II or Sessional Lecturer III in accordance with Article 14:12 of the CUPE 3902 Unit 3 collective agreement.
Please note: Undergraduate or graduate students and postdoctoral fellows of the University of Toronto are covered by the CUPE 3902 Unit 1 collective agreement rather than the Unit 3 collective agreement and should not apply for positions posted under the Unit 3 collective agreement.
