Overview

Job Description: Service Technician – Reefer/Service Trucks

Pay: $18.00 DOE Hours: 7:30 to 4pm

Join our team and put your skills to work! We’re looking for an experienced Service Technician to maintain and repair semi-trailers, box trucks, and service trucks — including brakes, lights, refrigeration units, and general DOT maintenance. If you enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced environment, this is the job for you.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair braking, hydraulic, and air systems.
  • Service and maintain refrigeration (Reefer) units.
  • Complete DOT inspections and maintain compliance records.
  • Perform welding, electrical, fabrication, and general trailer repairs.
  • Work independently on service calls and communicate clearly with dispatch and customers.
  • Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Mechanical, electrical, welding, or fabrication experience (diesel experience is a plus).
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Flexible schedule for service calls (including after hours).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
  • DOT certification (FHWA Inspections & Air Brakes).
  • Must have your own tools.
