Overview

Service Bartender

The Epicurean is located at 84 Queen St in beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake. The Epicurean Restaurant is looking for Bartenders. We are looking for a Bartender / Mixologist to join our front of house team. An expert who understands service, standards and is extremely knowledgeable about creating drinks. The Bartender needs to create a positive guest experience through interaction. Our Bartender must maintain a clean bar and provide the utmost satisfaction to our guests.

Responsibilities

• Serve guests at the bar, create drinks and foster a great, friendly atmosphere in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant.
• Monitor the cleanliness of the bar, bar back, glass washer and ensure all materials are free from clutter; ensure the bar area is clean and ready for guests.
• Complete opening and closing duties; stock and manage inventory; knowledge of our drink and food menus; create a positive guest experience through the steps of service.
• Collaborate with the team and adapt quickly to slow, medium or fast pace environments; be a mature bartender with bar knowledge and previous bartending experience; professional and able to work under pressure.
• 3-4 Bartender positions available.

• Proper serving and bartending skills.
• You are a team player and can quickly adapt well in any environment (Slow, medium or fast pace).
• Smart Serve Certification and bar knowledge.
• Must be able to multitask and be aware of side duties and business needs.
• Must be a mature bartender that has bar knowledge and previous bartending experience.
• Must be professional and able to work under pressure.
• Create a positive guest experience through the steps of service.
• Experience: Bartending 1 year (preferred).
• Language: English (required).
