Job summary

A leading engineering staffing provider is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale transmission line projects in Toronto, Ontario. This hands-on role requires expertise in project management, environmental assessments, and regulatory processes, with a focus on commercial management. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in project management specific to transmission lines and exceptional skills in communication and negotiation. This position offers the opportunity to engage with Indigenous communities as part of the project work.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience, particularly with transmission line projects.
• Demonstrated experience with environmental assessments and regulatory processes.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng) and/or PMP considered assets.

Responsibilities

• Lead the lifecycle of transmission line projects from development to close-out.
• Manage commercial aspects including contract review and administration.
• Oversee budget development and control, managing cost forecasts.
