• Provide technical support to Project Managers and Contract Administrators.
• Liaise closely with clients to offer technical opinions and recommendations.
• Coordinate engineering discipline specifications for inclusion into Project Manuals.

We are seeking a Specifications Writer who will synthesize, interpret, and compile technical information to create Project Manuals to include procurement, bidding, contract, administrative, and technical requirements for multi-disciplined projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Project Managers, Designers, Job Captains, and Contract Administrators to respond to and resolve issues or concerns
• Liaise closely with clients to offer technical opinions, recommendations and provide explanations of contract requirement
• Interpret client’s requirements to ensure specifications are accurate
• Coordinate engineering discipline specifications for inclusion into Project Manuals

Required Skills

• Understanding of relevant building codes and jurisdictional requirements
• Registered with a relevant professional association is an asset
• Knowledge of Architectural software skills (i.e. AutoCAD, Revit) is an asset

Required Experience

• 10+ years of project work experience
• Experience in the development of specifications
