Location: Home-based, Canada

Position Summary:

The Digital Business Enablement team is responsible for partnering with our business stakeholders to deliver optimized processes, systems, and data capabilities to grow our business. These solutions provided by Digital Business Enablement are the core of our user experience engaging with Bentley internally and externally. The ideal candidate will be a leader partnering with our Finance and Accounting organization to design, configure, and operate solutions in our Workday Financials application.

Within the business applications team, we are dedicated to partnering with our business units to deliver world-class enterprise applications that improve our processes and user experience.

We are seeking a seasoned Workday Solution Consultant with experience implementing and maintaining solutions in the Workday Financials application. The Senior Solution Consultant, Workday Financials, will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the Workday Financial Management system. This role ensures the system aligns with the Finance organization’s goals while operating a leading practices financial system. The position will be the key contact for the Finance organization regarding Workday, providing user support, troubleshooting issues, and managing system updates and integrations.

Responsibilities:

• Administer, maintain, and configure enhancements for our Workday Financial Management application, including core financials, banking and settlement, business processes, reporting, and EIB creation and usage.
• Ensure configuration and enhancements support best practices for Record-to-Report (R2R) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
• Partner with the financial systems development team to troubleshoot issues and develop new integrations.
• Coordinate adoption and regression testing for bi-annual feature releases.
• Develop custom reports with the Workday reporting team to support financial and operational reporting.
• Assist with audit requests and requirements.
• This is a full-time role, expected to work 40 hours per week, home-based in Canada.
• Physical requirements include sitting or standing while working on a computer. Communication with managers, peers, and colleagues occurs in person occasionally and via Microsoft Teams.
• Travel up to 5% per year may be required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, or a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of Workday Finance experience.
• Deep functional knowledge of accounting, finance, and financial reporting processes.
• Experience with Prism or Accounting Center is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Workday security.
• Workday Financial Pro certification is advantageous.
• Understanding of Workday Integration concepts and their uses.
• Experience in large-scale, complex business environments with multiple integrated systems.
• Experience supporting post go-live environments, handling issues, and enabling enhancements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive and self-starting attitude.
• Ability to lead informally and work with multiple teams.
