The Role

As the Senior Product Manager Behavioural Analytics you will have 3 primary types of responsibilities.

  1. First you will attract hire grow and retain great people. You will grow Product Owners into great Product Owners and Product Managers into great Product Managers. You will live and breathe product thinking and you will act as a role model for the team to demonstrate what it means to be curious action oriented and focused on what is most important.

  2. Second you will work with your stakeholders directors senior managers and delivery teams in the department to identify the biggest problems to solve and the best solutions to employ. You will look to identify opportunities to maximize the ROI of the platforms you are responsible for. You will foster transparency and communicate reliable and relevant information often. You will create real trust and facilitate great collaboration.

  3. Third you will demonstrate discipline and a systematic approach to planning and execution. You will be thorough and think ahead to actively identify and to resolve roadblocks before they become bigger risks. You will stay focused on the real value you are delivering and you will be relentless in your efforts to get things done on behalf of your stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Provides direct product leadership coaching and role modelling for Product Owners and Product Managers in the portfolio reinforcing product discipline and principles are applied in teams day to day approach to delivering product.

  • Oversees the Analytics Team MIR Team A / B Testing & Search Team portfolio of work, acting as the main communication point for other product and stakeholder teams across the organization providing overall status reporting and supporting in the mitigation of value risk usability risk viability risk feasibility risk and morality risk.

  • Actively works with other product teams on joint roadmaps and planning, sees those plans through execution by removing roadblocks communicating and reinforcing priorities, often leads joint technical troubleshooting.

  • Owns and co-develops the strategic 3 to 12 month roadmap for the Analytics team with the Analytics team Product Leads and Technical Solutions Architect.

  • Owns and co-develops the strategic 3 to 12 month roadmap for the ABS team with the team Product Leads and Solutions Architect.

  • Owns and co-develops the strategic 3 to 12 month roadmap for the MIR team with the team Product Lead Sr. Machine Learning Developer and Product Designer.

  • Owns and co-develops the strategic 3 to 12 month roadmap for the SEO team with the SEO analysts across CBC / R-C.

  • Makes critical decisions on the quarterly prioritization and establishment of workplans for the Analytics ABS MIR and SEO teams in quarter and in future quarters.

  • Acts as intake point for new strategic work making critical decisions on prioritization and roadmap commitments with stakeholders and owns the continuous refinement of quarterly priorities ensuring alignment to business priorities. Acts as the main resource for quarterly planning and departmental inter-dependency management during execution.

  • Works closely with stakeholders to identify the largest business problems and opportunities leads initial discovery against those problems works with the product teams to hand off to POs for execution responsible for regular and meaningful updates to stakeholders and takes a client centric approach to stakeholder management.

  • Manages relationships with vendors like Adobe Analytics Chartbeat Amplitude

  • Leads relationships with technical teams within the organization and between Rad-Can and CBC negotiating priorities scope of work and objectives.

  • Identifies gaps in governance and process between harmonized delivery teams establishes new models and ways of working and puts those new operational processes in place negotiates and brokers decisions through joint process across Rad-Can and CBC.

  • Works with other product teams on discovery work identifying areas of opportunity for ADaPT and ADI along with the platforms that they maintain being an evangelist for the products they oversee.

  • Sets and negotiates expectations of senior leadership to ensure that work is aligned with the business value ensuring that problem statements are clear DoD is established across all work measures progress and demonstrates the value that ADaPT and ADI teams provide to the rest of the organization as necessary and required.

Qualifications

Objective Criteria :

  • 5 years professional experience in a technical role developing software applications preferably web-based solutions deployed on high traffic sites

  • Demonstrated experience implementing data collection pipelines and running data platform teams

  • Demonstrated experience coordinating work across multiple agile teams

  • Demonstrated track record of continuous improvement

  • Demonstrated facilitation experience

  • Experience with data platforms used for A / B Testing marketing and digital performance tracking like Adobe Analytics Chartbeat Conductrics Amplitude Comscore

  • Awareness of the purpose and application of tools such as Atlassians JIRA Confluence and Bitbucket

  • Basic knowledge of QA automation development tools and frameworks

  • Awareness of the purpose and application of Agile Methodologies

  • Ability to work in French would be considered an asset.
