This is a mat leave contract for 18 months.

Role and responsibilities

How your role will add to the story:

This role is all about bringing the Vans brand to life through tactical execution and customer loyalty communications. You will support campaign rollouts, strengthen dealer engagement, and ensure communications are aligned with brand standards across NAFTA. While the role is focused on tactical delivery, it offers exposure to strategic initiatives and the opportunity to grow into broader responsibilities over time.

A day in life
  • Execute tactical marketing communications aligned with the NAFTA Creative Campaign Strategy, Loyalty, and CRM.
  • Coordinate with agencies on day-to-day campaign deliverables, manage timelines, and track KPIs.
  • Provide reporting and actionable recommendations on campaign effectiveness and deployment.
  • Support the development and implementation of brand guidelines and communication standards across the Vans division and dealer network.
  • Administer the Tier III Dealer Marketing & Co-Op Program, including fulfilling dealer requests, coordinating with agencies, and producing regular reporting.
  • Analyze dealer program utilization, recommend improvements, and support revisions that drive stronger dealer participation.
  • Partner with field personnel and stakeholders to optimize dealer initiatives and ensure alignment with sales and customer service priorities.

Mercedes-Benz star skills, requirements & traits
  • University degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Post-graduate diploma or training in Digital Marketing, CRM, or Customer Loyalty Programs is an asset.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in tactical marketing communications, campaign execution, or customer loyalty communications (automotive or commercial vehicle industry experience is a strong asset).
  • Strong organizational and execution skills with the ability to deliver communications on time and within budget.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide recommendations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and integrate input from various sources with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with marketing platforms, CRM systems, and digital communication tools.
