A leading financial institution is seeking a dynamic product manager to oversee personal banking account products. This role involves managing P&L, ensuring risk management, and driving product profitability. Successful candidates will have a strategic mindset, strong analytical capabilities, and experience in leading teams. What is the opportunity?
In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of personal banking account (PBA) products (retail chequing accounts). You will help set and execute the strategic direction of PBA products to drive volume, optimize profitability, and improve client satisfaction. You will oversee portfolio management functions and ensure strong risk management foundations.
You will have P&L accountability and manage account pricing, features, fees, account / balance volumes and profitability (where controlled). In addition to Personal Bank Accounts (PBA), you will also support Safe Deposit Boxes (SDB) and Precious Metals products.
This is a key “Win for Today” role in the Everyday Banking team that will help drive Empower 2030 goals of Providing Exceptional Value Propositions and Driving Scale and Efficiency – underpinned by a prudent risk culture.
You will report to the Director, Personal Banking Accounts, and be a leader of a dynamic, collaborative, innovative and high-performing team. You will be expected to contribute to team culture, consistent with the RBC Leadership Model.
