arc programs is now accepting applications for an experienced and innovative manager to join the Agency’s Leadership (Senior Management) team.
In collaboration with the CEO, the successful candidate will provide management and clinical oversight of services provided by the Agency, and support/supervision to program managers as a member of the agency Leadership team.
Hours / Schedule:
This is a full-time permanent position within a dynamic and growing community social services agency.
arc programs provides a continuum of specialized services for children, youth, and families, as well as adults accessing community living services in the Central and South Okanagan and Kootenay communities.
The position is based in Kelowna and supports agency managers in the delivery of services across our communities of interest; therefore, flexible hours and limited travel by vehicle are required.
Responsibilities:
This position involves establishing and implementing long-range and strategic plans and agency services, assessing, and resolving service delivery issues, and developing or revising agency procedures and practices.
Candidates for this position will have demonstrated leadership, program management, staff supervision, and clinical experience in the community/social services sector.
Preferred Education and Experience:
The successful candidate will be familiar with community resources within the Central Okanagan, and skilled at coordinating services and fostering connections with community partners.
Candidates will have demonstrated program management and staff supervision experience in the community/social services sector, with an in-depth working knowledge of the specific programs and services provided by the agency, applicable legislation and policies, and issues impacting agency-community relations.
This position requires excellent oral, written, facilitation, and interpersonal communication skills; proficient report-writing and record-keeping skills.
Advanced education (master’s level degree preferred) in the social services field is required, along with excellent communication skills.

Wage / Benefits:
$8,250.00 - $8,650.00 per month based on qualifications and experience.
Excellent benefits and management perquisites are provided.
Upon successful completion of a probationary period, full-time employees (minimum 20 hours/week) are eligible for a full benefits package, including dental, vision, life insurance, extended medical, long-term disability, and RRSP contributions.
Full-time employees are eligible for paid vacation and sick days as per agency policy.
