Job summary

A community care provider in Ontario seeks a Labour and Employee Relations Officer/Business Partner to support labour relations strategies and address complex employee relations and grievance issues. This role involves advising management on collective agreements, delivering training, and maintaining collaborative relationships with unions. Qualified candidates will have a relevant degree, a minimum of five years of experience in labour relations, and exceptional negotiation skills. Flexibility to travel and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of broad and progressive labour relations experience.
• Knowledge of provincial employment law and collective agreement administration is essential.
• Experience in a health care environment preferred.
