As a Senior IT Analyst in Cloud Financial Management, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive analyses of cloud spending to identify cost-saving opportunities and make recommendations for potential optimizations.
Create and maintain dashboards to monitor cloud expenses and provide clear, accurate reports to stakeholders.
Participate in developing cost-saving plans with the Cloud Financial Management team.
Administer and use available tools to manage cloud costs.
Support cloud consumers in their optimization efforts.
Contribute to improving processes related to cost allocation, visibility, and internal chargebacks.
Define and maintain performance indicators for Cloud Financial Management.
Stay up to date on the evolution of FinOps practices in the market.
We’re looking for someone who:
Is recognized for strong analytical skills and the ability to simplify complex financial and technological concepts.
Stands out for excellent communication and synthesis skills.
Demonstrates great adaptability in a constantly evolving and sometimes ambiguous organizational context.
Is known for collaborative leadership and the ability to influence multidisciplinary teams.
Has a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in information technology, including 3 to 5 years in financial management related to technology.
Holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, business administration, or any other relevant equivalent education (a graduate degree is considered an asset).
Is comfortable presenting information to senior management and interpreting financial and operational data.
Has a solid understanding of FinOps principles and cloud cost optimization methodologies.
Holds a FinOps Certified Practitioner certification (asset: FinOps Certified Professional).
Has in-depth knowledge of one or more cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Is proficient with analysis and reporting tools.
Additional asset: knowledge of the insurance and financial services industry.
Advanced level of French proficiency, as the role involves communicating with francophones on a daily basis.
